Where is the Lake District?

Located in Cumbria, in the northwest corner of England, near the Scottish border, the Lake District is a land of unrivalled beauty resplendent with some of England's finest and tallest mountains, interspersed with the country's largest bodies of water. Known as the Lakes, or Lakeland, this is England's largest national park and also a hugely popular tourist attraction, and for good reason.

Nowhere else in England can you find such a perfect concentration of mountains, lakes, rivers and forest, perfect for photographers lovers. Coupled with the lush green beauty that the English landscape is famous for, this place is heaven for the photographer. So if you are an intermediate photographer looking to improve your skills, learn new techniques on location in beautiful surroundings rather than in the classroom, and come home with a set of stunning photographs, then this five day photography course / tour is just for you.

This photography course and tour is being organised and run by Graham Hawcroft, a photographer with 30 years experience in the Lake District.
